📢Welcome everyone to my page and to the 2023-2024 school year! There are resources here for band kids (see the tabs on the right hand side) as well as the concert songs listed for all the grades that I teach here at Snowdon. 

 

General Music Concerts:  All concerts start at 6:30pm and are held in the Snowdon Gym (unless otherwise indicated). Call time for students is at 6:00pm and parents can stay and get their seats at that time also. 

 

Kindergarten: Thursday, May 9th, 2024

1st Grade: Thursday, May 2nd, 2024

2nd Grade: Thursday, February 1st, 2024

3rd Grade & 2/3 Combo Class: Thursday, December 7th, 2023

4th Grade: Thursday, April 18th, 2024

5th Grade & 4/5 Combo Class: Thursday, March 7th, 2024
5th Grade Band/Strings: Thursday, May 16th, 2024 (@ Westwood Middle School Gym)

 

Please refer to the tab on the right to find the concert songs for your grade if you would like to practice at home.  I also have the scripts linked there if they are available at this time.

 

Veterans Day: We would like to welcome families and especially veterans to come to our special Veterans Day Assembly on Thursday, November 9th at 9:20am in the Snowdon Gym.  There will be presentations by each of the grades as well as some special parts performed by our 5th graders this year.  Also, if students would like to practice their songs at home, please open this slideshow presentation to access the music and words. In addition, we will have a Wall of Honor again and students have been encouraged to write the names of three veterans on each of the stars on their paper (that I gave to each student) to put on our Wall of Honor in the Cafe.  If you would like to make more of your own copies of the stars, you are welcome to do it--we have blue and red stars on a white background.
